We will have two check-in times for the 2017 show as noted below:
1) 7am early check-in: For those wanting to attend the Goodwill Donation breakfast at the
Firehouse like we had in 2016. Great breakfast and they welcome your donations.
2) 9am check-in: Our normal check-in for the show for those not attending the breakfast.
Check-in will be open from 7am to 11am, so come anytime you like.
ACTIVITIES:
RAFFLES:
Every vehicle registered for the show will automatically be entered into our door prize raffle drawings. We will draw entry numbers every 39 minutes starting at 10:00am with the final drawing at 1:00pm. Please see "Raffles" for more details.
MUSIC:
We will not have a band this year. We have installed a sound system all along the show parking areas which should now reach everyone at the show. We will be playing primarily 1970's and 1980's music this year through this new system.
GAME BOOTH:
This year we will use our new sound system for our games which will be trivia related games. Our first game will start at 10:00am following the National Anthem. At this time, the next 13 songs we play are songs that we used in a movie. Each of those movies also featured a car, some multiple cars. Your job is to list the name of each movie that song appeared in along with the make and model of the car (vehicle year not required and a hint on each answer has been provided for this game only). At the conclusion of the 13th song, we will announce it and advise the game booth to start the 20 minute countdown timer. For all games, you will have 20 minutes to get your answers to the game booth. The first person with all of the correct answers wins and the clock stops. There is only one winner per game and each game awards the winner with a $25.00 Amazon gift card. If the 20 minute timer ends and no one has all the correct answers, the Game Booth personnel will determine which answer sheet had the most correct answers that was received first and that person will be deemed the winner. A player can only win one time to allow for as many people as possible to win. If you are a trivia ringer, sorry.
As for the other six (6) games, they will run fast. Each game will include a 20-30 segment of snippets. These snippets will be a series of 10-12 TV Shows tunes or Music tunes. You will only be given a few notes for each one. We will play each snippet three times at the start of the game. After we play it the third time, the 20 minutes timer will start and the same rules as above applies to all of these games as well. We will only play each snippet three times, so if you want to hear it more, we suggest using the video feature on your cell phone to record the snippets to give you more time to answer each question. All games on show day, the winner of each game will get a $25.00 Amazon gift card. As you can tell, time is of the essence. Good luck.
SILENT AUCTION:
In 2023 we are bringing back our silent auction. We will have many great items to bid on. The silent auction will be located in the community building and will be open starting at 7:00am. The auction closes at 1:30pm. If you bid on an item or items, check with them after 1:30 to see if you are a winner and settle up before the awards at 1:45pm.
50/50 RAFFLE:
50/50 Raffle will be back. The 2022 winner took home over $1,350.00. Please see the "Raffles" section for more details. For this raffle, you must be present to win.
