The Vandalia Trail, also known at the National Road Heritage Trail for the historic road it parallels, is planned to extend across the state of Indiana from Terre Haute to Richmond. The trail extends west from Amo and enters Coatesville just south of Main Street. There are plenty of points in town to access the trail for a good hour or full day of family hiking.
